Those were the...Lazy,hazy days of summer.

My latest effort.Apart from some missing pixels up top,I quite like the effect.Orton-esque again.

Alchoholic dies.

The recovery (part 10)

On that last note,I returned to hospital today,to have an ultrasound on my stomach. So how did it go ?
Sorry sir we can't tell you,we will send a report to you specialist, they will get it in two weeks and write to you.
WTF
They are in an office down the hall.press select and enter and send it electronicly.Pick up the phone. Two weeks my arse.
On Wednesday,it's torture day at endoscopy.A camera is stuffed down your throat whilst you quietly choke and heave.Who knows,I may know four weeks after wether I'm out of the woods.
The blood tests say my liver has returned to normal function. But I still feel like my guts are tied in knots,I still have chronic indigestion. The tablets, made me lose 3 stones and put back on 2.I have developed man boobs, and feel constantly tired and weak.If I had a sex life it would have effected that as well ;0))
As I said in the last post,I pulled back from the brink.I found the strength to do that, and I am grateful to be here with Thomas and Hannah. So I'll shut up.Trust me I am happy to be here.

This rang some bells.

It will be a year in September, when I had my dalliance with death.I feel for this kid.He could not stop. His chances are slim.I hope for his sake, and his families he finds the strength to pull himself back from the brink. It's not easy,I know but if he doesn't fight it......he's dead.

Holiday 2010

Today i have started work planning next years big trip. And next years winner is ...........tojours provence.
Yep a road trip from the North East of England to southern France. What I know at this point,is we want to be based in the area of Aix-en-Provence.This gives us a good base for the coast-Marseille,Monte Carlo,Monaco etc;and for inland-Rhone Valley,Provence,Luberon, the highest most beautiful road bridge in the world(Millau Bridge),and to many numerous to mention.
Obviously Mijanou wants beach,so i need to do some homework to find some beach that doesn't include a 2 hour traffic jam.I want to take photographs, see beautiful things. The children want to play.
I am taken with these Mongolian yurts(sp?)The latest thing in comfort camping.Very romantic and lots of fun.So I'm looking for a camping site offering yurts, swimming pool and non invasive entertainment for the children.http://www.avignon-et-provence.com/campings/sorguette/gb/nomad-places.htm
Food and drink, well it's France. For medical reasons i can no longer enjoy the fruit of the vine, but I am sure Mijanou will enjoy keeping the side up.I'll make the most of the cuisine.
It's early days, but i want to plan a list of must do's and make a route accordingly. So it will take a lot of research and time.
I will add more as things become clearer.

I need information.

It's funny, when the planning is done, and it's time to take the big step forward, how the doubts and introspection creep in.What have i missed, who's going to throw a spanner in the works?
In the end all there is to fear; is fear itself. And of course the good old cheesy one "better to have tried and failed, than to have not tried at all."
Time to put the plan into action.......
Thus far in my short time enjoying Photography, this shot has been my most popular.

Infinity Bridge at night.

It is of a curve of the Infinity Bridge, opened in spring 2009 in Stockton on Tees.UK.
